Find technical files

Specifications and drawings stay with the product.

Read selection guidance

Start with interfaces, ratings and assembly.

Request documentation

Specify the model, file type and revision.

Technical resource index

Read the complete conditions.

Same interface, different configuration

Beyond housing size, check coding, contact count, gender and mounting. Mating requires full part numbers and drawings, not appearance alone.

Read a rating with its conditions

Read standards, temperature, wire size and mating state with the number. Do not combine different standards or series ranges into one maximum.

Drawings define the assembly

Check outline, panel cutout, PCB footprint, insertion direction and clearance. Match the drawing revision to the ordered model.

Use a pin table for cable wiring

List A-pin to B-pin mapping with signal, wire color, shielding and unconnected contacts. Define how cable length is measured.

01

Circular connectors

For equipment, sensor and signal links, select circular interfaces by shell size, coding, contact arrangement, termination and environment.

Coding & contacts
Specify interface size, coding and contact count; use the contact view to confirm gender and signal assignment.
Installation
Check straight or angled exits, cable diameter, panel opening, locking and assembly clearance.

02

Board & FPC connectors

Find board-to-board, header/socket and FPC/FFC interfaces by available space and assembly needs, with attention to pitch, positions, orientation and mating height.

Layout dimensions
Confirm board footprint, pitch, positions, mating height and clearance before checking pads and locating features.
FPC contact
Check top, bottom or dual contacts. Cable thickness, stiffener and locking style must match the selected part.

03

Terminal blocks

From PCB wiring to control cabinets, start with mounting and termination, then check pitch, positions and electrical ratings under each applicable standard.

Termination & mounting
Distinguish pluggable, fixed and DIN-rail structures. Confirm screw or spring termination, wire entry and tool access.
Pitch & positions
Use the full part number and PCB drawing to verify pitch, positions, pin length and holes.

Questions to resolve before purchasing.

Is cable information needed for circular connector selection?

Cable-mounted versions require cable diameter, conductor size, cores and shielding. Panel versions need mounting and termination details.

Is matching FPC pitch sufficient?

Positions, thickness, contact-side orientation, insertion depth and locking must also be compatible.

Are terminal blocks with the same pitch interchangeable?

Mating geometry, coding, ratings, conductor range and PCB dimensions must also match. Pitch alone is only one geometric condition.
