Define your connection. From interface to cable.

Turn interfaces, pin assignments and operating conditions into clear project requirements for drawings, samples and delivery.

Connector and cable engineering application scene

Define the details. Move the sample forward.

From standard interfaces to cable assemblies, LIANYIXIN helps organize specifications, coordinate suitable manufacturing resources and keep communication aligned to one drawing and requirement.

What a complete requirement contains.

Unresolved items can remain open for review.

A / B interfaces
Part number, gender, keys, straight/angled style and mating half.
Wiring map
Pin mapping, shield grounding, branches and labels.
Cable & length
Wire size, cores, jacket, length definition and tolerance requirements.
Use & acceptance
Environment, movement, installation constraints and tests.
Supply & delivery
Sample quantity, production demand, desired delivery and documentation.

Four steps from requirements to delivery.

01

Define requirements

Interfaces, pin mapping, length, cable, quantity and conditions. Include existing part numbers or drawings.

02

Review configuration

Review available construction, mating parts and drawing revision; define scope and sample conditions.

03

Evaluate samples

Evaluate mounting, wiring and use against agreed criteria, with specific feedback.

04

Plan supply

Confirm the final revision, quantity, packaging, delivery schedule and required documents.

Custom project questions

Can we start without a complete drawing?

Start with interface photos, end part numbers, application, quantity and cable length. Photos help explain the need; final mating and dimensions require drawing confirmation.

How is the approved sample carried into production?

Fix the drawing revision, BOM, cable, marking, tests and packaging in the quotation and order; reconfirm changes.

Does the budget tool replace a formal quotation?

The tool supports early configuration and quantity planning. Custom processing, tooling, tests, freight and final supply pricing require project review.

From standard parts to cable assembly requirements.

Define what needs to change. Interface, cable and installation requirements call for different review priorities.

Products illustrate selection directions; verify suitability, mating and ratings for the specific model.

01

Cable assemblies & pin mapping

Define a cable assembly by its A/B interfaces, length, pin mapping and cable specification. Start with a clear drawing and acceptance requirements.

End interfaces
Specify full A/B part numbers, gender, keying, straight/angled style and cable exit.
Cable & length
Define length measurement, conductor size, cores, shielding, jacket and fixed or moving use.

Products illustrate selection directions; verify suitability, mating and ratings for the specific model.

02

Panel interfaces & mating parts

For equipment, sensor and signal links, select circular interfaces by shell size, coding, contact arrangement, termination and environment.

Coding & contacts
Specify interface size, coding and contact count; use the contact view to confirm gender and signal assignment.
Installation
Check straight or angled exits, cable diameter, panel opening, locking and assembly clearance.

03

Board interfaces & assembly requirements

Find board-to-board, header/socket and FPC/FFC interfaces by available space and assembly needs, with attention to pitch, positions, orientation and mating height.

Layout dimensions
Confirm board footprint, pitch, positions, mating height and clearance before checking pads and locating features.
FPC contact
Check top, bottom or dual contacts. Cable thickness, stiffener and locking style must match the selected part.

Questions to resolve before purchasing.

What is the first step for a custom cable?

Provide end interfaces, quantity, length and application. Include the drawing revision, or start with a pin-mapping table if no drawing exists.

Is cable information needed for circular connector selection?

Cable-mounted versions require cable diameter, conductor size, cores and shielding. Panel versions need mounting and termination details.

Is matching FPC pitch sufficient?

Positions, thickness, contact-side orientation, insertion depth and locking must also be compatible.
